Aikido Takayama Society is a non-profit martial arts organization dedicated to transmitting and preserving the Japanese martial art of Aikido, as taught by the founder Morihei Ueshiba and codified by our Chief Instructor T.K. Chiba Shihan, founder of Birankai. Aikido Takayama offers Aikido classes in a safe, friendly and constructive manner to youth ages 8 years and up, and adults of all ages. Our goal is not only to preserve the art of Aikido in its original form, but to ensure that our community has access to a highly unique and traditional Japanese martial art.
The teachers are Aarons Sensei has over 40 years of Aikido Experience. He holds a 5th degree black belt (Godan) and is a certified Aikido instructor (Shidoin).Norine Longmire Sensei has over 25 years of Aikido Experience. She holds a 4th degree black belt (Yondan) and is a certified Aikido instructor (Fuku Shidoin).

Programs & Class Schedule
Aikido Takayama Provides both Youth and Adult classes. Adults: Monday 7:00 to 08:00 pm, Tuesday 7:00 to 08:15 pm and Thursday 07:00 to 08:15 pm. Sunday from 09:00 to 10:00 am Weapons. Iaido Sunday from 08:00 to 09:00. Youth classes on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45 to 4:45 pm.
