IFA Skye and Lochalsh is the Scottish division of the International Freestyle Association set up and run by Chief Instructor Kash ‘The Flash’ Gill, 4 times World Kickboxing Champion. Lessons include freestyle karate, self-defence, kickboxing, fitness, pad work, sparring. Ages 6 + welcome, all abilities and fitness levels. Classes are taught by Antony Davies, a 3rd Degree [4th Dan] Black Belt with 34 years of training. Trained as a teacher specialising in PE and Sports Science [primary and secondary school], Antony has several coaching and teaching qualifications in a variety of sports, as well as a long history of first aid training, private coaching in athletics and martial arts instruction. With classes in Broadford, Kyle of Lochalsh and Portree, and approaching 100 students, the classes have existed since 2009, with a strong family-friendly atmosphere and an emphasis on defence and respect. Programs & Class Schedule
No contract required. Classes for age 6 years and upwards, all fitness levels. Classes take place on a Friday and start at 4 p.m. [younger students],last one hour and finish at 7 p.m.
Cost £5 per hour. Cheaper rates for additional sessions during the same week.
