Over 35 years experience in Martial Arts starting in Europe. Former British National Champion , Provincial Champion, and Canadian Champion. Level 3 National Coaching Certificate Program training with emphasis on Sport Psychology, and sport safety and concussion prevention/management. 5th Dan Black Belt and Physician.
Traditional Shotokan Karate, with sport specific exercises for speed, strength and flexibility development. Judo and Jiu Jitsu techniques are taught once fundamentals of Karate are acquired.
We are members of Karate BC. We do compete though the primary objective is to learn self defence.
We take students from ages 6 and up. Mostly focussing on children. Adults are welcome to join if they have prior training in Karate.
