Aikido self defence in Abergavenny is a fun and social way to regain or retain physical health as well as mental wellbeing – it’s a terrific way of supporting your whole being to grow and develop.
Aikido helps you deal with physical challenges such as weight loss and fitness through working against your own body weight as well as emotional issues such as building confidence and self esteem to deal with conflict in a non-aggressive manner. It’s non competitive activity: the moves are based on breaking balance without causing direct harm whilst having a positive and caring mindset towards your training partner. As we learn to harmonise with the oncoming force, rather than attack it, so we become comfortable asserting ourselves in our wish to make more positive relationships with one another. Self and Mutual respect is the name of the game.

Kids: £5 a lesson or £15 a month
Plus £25 annual insurance for all ages
