We teach the martial art of Japanese Jiu Jitsu. A martial art consisting of throws, locks, compliance techniques, strikes and ground imobilisations. Targeted at both self-defence, building confidence, fitness and flexibility.
As an association – The Jitsu Foundation – we have many clubs throughout the country which students and instructors regularly train at. We hold regional, national and international events throughout the year, day courses and social events. Our training is progressive, for people of all abilities and fitness levels. We have visiting instructors on a regular basis so there is always high quality teaching on hand.
Come and find us at Brougham Hayes, in the sports hall tucked away in the car park at the rear. If you don’t have any martial arts attire a T-shirt and jogging bottoms are fine for the first few weeks.
The first two sessions are free.
