Martial arts centre offering training in basic, sport and knockdown karate as well as fitness utilising MMA techniques . Members of Scottish Karare board, this club fights in all major WKF tournaments in the UK and in Europe. We have Scottish, English, Irish , British , Danish and Swedish Open champions within our club . Instructors have many years practical experience between them and this club has been operating in town for nearly 40 years.

Martial Art Styles
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Cowdenbeath Martial Arts Centre:
- Karate
- Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)
- Shotokan and sport karate
Programs & Class Schedule
Tuesday 7pm -8pm junior karate 7-13 years. 8-9pm Adult karate
Wednesday , Tei Fighting Fit , fitness class , with MMA Techniques, Adults only.
Thursday 6-7pm Tei Tigers , 3-7 years fun based karate class.
Thursday 7-8pm Junior Karate, 8-9pm Adult karate
Friday 7-8pm Adult Tei Fighting fit , including kickboxing .
Instructors:- Gordon Maxwell 4th Dan , Neil Maxwell 3rd Dan, Alan Goodwin 3rd Dan , John Izatt 1st Dan, Ben Smith 1st Dan Tei Tigers Melissa Maxwell , current Scottish and British Kumite champion .
Classes are paid per evening at £ 4 a class .
The centre is run as a non profit unit, no paid Instructors.
