Dave Briggs has over 30 years Martial Arts experience, is a world renowned Self Protection and Personal Safety Instructor (registered with the British Combat Association). He has nearly 20 years grappling experience in BJJ, Judo and Submission Grappling, having studied under some of the best instructors in the world.
He was one of Mauricio Gomes (7th Degree red and black belt) and father of 10 times world champion, Roger Gracie, first UK students. Dave has been constructive in developing a double world champion and European silver medallist students. He is regarded as one the most experienced UK born BJJ instructors.
The class is focussed on developing students ability and understanding in a friendly and informative environment, with an emphasis on technique and knowledge rather than strength – making it ideal for both men and women. For more information, please visit my website.

Adult classes held on Monday evenings 7.00pm – 8.30pm
Gi hire available (if required)
1st class is currently free, inclusive of gi hire.
Dave Briggs BJJ is a ‘non political’ academy and welcomes students from any associations. Whether a complete novice, someone wishing to supplement MMA training (groundwork skills), or you happen to be just in the area.
