Chief Instructor Mrs Foster, is a former National & World Champion Instructor, with over 35 years experience in training and teaching and competing around the globe. She has trained in Shotokan Karate under the world’s top instructors, including Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama, (an internationally recognised instructor, author, and administrator, and helped to establish the JKA & the last surviving students of Gichin Funakoshi, founder of Shotokan karate). Also Sensei’s Enoeda, Kawasoe, Kanazawa, Ohta, Nito, and many others.

Extensive training with Sport England in Coaching people of all ages and abilities, Kinsey has experience of teaching blind students, deaf students, students with prosthetic limbs, students in wheelchairs, special needs, youth offending teams, children at the brink of exclusion, groups of vulnerable adults with mental health difficulties, running school groups etc. She has built herself a strong reputation for both her quality of teaching, but also her endless patience with young people and is well regarded for the way she incorporates self-esteem building and fostering healthy friendships and a family atmosphere by involving family members in many events.
