The Ryuuseigun Dojo or Southern Cross Club of the Kodenkan Danzan Ryu Ju-Jitsu incorporates all the traditional teachings of the previous Masters of the system passed on through the current head instructor Sensei Steve ‘Skippy’ Cooper in a friendly safe environment.
Danzan Ryu Ju-jitsu incorporates a very holistic view of martial engagement including locks, holds, grappling, throws, kicks and punches and is taught with a practical modern view of its application whilst maintaining the traditional teachings within the basics through a series of kata, drills, application and sparring.
Sensei Cooper has been involved in training martial arts since 1991 and continues to teach all ages from children as young as 5 through to the adults classes in the Winnersh/Wokingham area. He has trained in several different styles of martial arts and holds senior rank in Karate, Muay Thai and Ju-jitsu. This blend of styles and experience allows him to share his love for the Martial Arts and provide a practical basis for which he teaches in a safe environment.
