Andrew is a second-degree black-belt in Uechi-Ryu karate, and has an extensive background in boxing, kickboxing, karate, and self defense. He has a long standing passion for MMA (mixed martial arts) and health/fitness.
Andrew is also a advanced level 2 certified fitness kickboxing instructor through Kick Boxing Canada.
Heather is a BSCN and a certified fitness specialist through CanFitpro. She has been teaching kickboxing for seven years and has been training with Andrew for the past there years in self-defence and MMA.
Heather is also a advanced level 2 certified fitness kickboxing instructor through Kick Boxing Canada.
Personally trained by Grandmaster Tae Eun Lee 9th Dan of Ottawa, Jordan is a 2nd Dan Moo Kwang Taekwondo, 1st Dan World Taekwondo Federation.
Specializing in combat/self defense, advanced kicking/striking, and neh gong, Jordan is a well rounded martial artist who is equally at home in the dojang, sparring ring and on the streets.
Personally trained by Grandmaster Tae Eun Lee, 9th Dan, of Ottawa, Evan is a 4th Dan Moo Kwang Taekwondo, 3rd Dan World Taekwondo Federation, B.A., B.Ps, B.Ed, Ontario Specialist – Special Education.
Master Greenman has taught women’s self-defence and has had three clubs of his own from which many certified black belts have graduated. He has taught many special needs students both as part of a school programme as well as in his public clubs.
Master Greenman specializes in teaching, strategy/tactics, advanced kicking/striking, neh gong and philosophy/history.
Ground Defence Instructor
Richard Hale began Judo at the age of 7 at the RCMP Depot Judo Club in Regina, Saskatchewan. He stayed with the sport for the next 10 years before moving to Nova Scotia.
Richard has fought in 5 Nationals, placing 3rd in Juveniles in 1985. He took wrestling from grade 7 to grade 12, and also fought for one semester for the University of Regina in 1985. He was absent from judo up until 2008, when he and his 12 year old daughter Jessica started in Greenwood under Charlene Oliver. With Jessica’s love of the sport, they began classes in Bedford at the ATC with Scott Tanner and many other great coaches.
Richard teaches the Ground Defence class that runs Wednesday nights.
Darren Taylor runs our Amateur boxing program ,with the help of Steve Weir retired Pro boxer .
