We are a welcoming Judo Club to beginners and experienced players and hope, ultimately, to find enjoyment through the great sport of Judo. We have been practising the Olympic Sport of Judo since the club established itself in Thornton in 1974. The club prides itself on having a with a wide range of players from 5 years old to 50 years old with a full spectrum of grades from white to black belt. The classes put emphasis on technique enabling the player to learn and put into practice their techniques at their own pace. All classes are taught by qualified UKCC Level 2/3 coaches with the aim to improve a player’s fitness as well as Judo ability whilst having fun at the same time.
