Traditional Excellence Karate seeks to gather and enable small groups of good people seeking to develop themselves with Shotokan Karate and associated martial arts. Chief Instructor, Steve Nash, is a retired military officer, has more than 30 years of experience as a black belt instructor as well as bachelor and master degrees in education. Training focuses on basics of human performance under the stress expected in close quarters combat. As a former military unarmed combat instructor and law enforcement use of force instructor, Steve seeks to provide realistic, challenging and safe training. Specialized courses, functional fitness, one to one training as well as 3 month to 1 year mentorships/ apprenticeships with Steve Nash are also available.
