Want to gain fitness, Coordination and Awareness of the body as well as Confidence & Self Esteem while learning a Self Defense? Well Aikido is a great martial art to do all that.
Walsall Wood Aikido Club is solely a Aikido Dojo with a permanent mat space of 100 Sq mtrs. We are a not for profit club that practice Iwama or Takemusu style Aikido.
Our style teaches strong basics, accuracy of technique and posture and also a heavy emphasis on weapons (Aiki Ken and Aiki Jo). The Iwama style of Aikido has not attempted to change or update the teachings of O’Sensei (Morihei Ueshiba), the founder of Aikido and we follow this path in our daily training/classes. This makes it a perfect self defence for men, women & kids
Walsall Wood Aikido Club has strong links within the UK and internationally including Japan with other recognised Aikido groups.
All members and instructors are British Aikido Board recognised and vetted. The British Aikido Board is the only governing body for Aikido in the UK.

Tuesday: 7 pm to 9 pm
Wednesday: 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm
Thursday: 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm
Friday: 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm
Saturday: 10 am to 11.30 am
