Wasenshi translates as Peaceful Warrior
Wasenshi Karate opened on 05 Jan 2015 and is passionately led by Sensei Jacques Moreau and assisted by Sensei Nathalie. Junior Sensei Hazel participates in instructing as well.
The school welcomes student of all ages and teaches a mixed group of adults and children in a friendly and respectful environment. Although the techniques are based on ancient knowledge it is the application of that knowledge in our modern times that sets us apart. Through a mentorship program, we encourage our students to share their knowledge with newer students.
Our instructors continually follow advanced training in order to stay current with, amongst other things, self defence techniques and are able to relate that information to their students effectively. Our instructors are not only interested in our students skills but also the personal development of each person as a whole and work to encourage respect, dicipline, and self-confidence.

Programs & Class Schedule
As traditionally taught, our classes are of mixed levels and ages. Because of this, parents have been joining with their kids.
We take kids from the age of 5 years old and our oldest students are well into their 50’s. They can join anytime.
We are opened Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
We offer 1 free trial week. As of signing of membership contract, if it is for 6 months and more, the uniform is free ($45. value).
Our school offers a safe, warm and fun environment. We are very much a family!
