We are a traditional style based school that incorporates individual clubs for Karate Training (art of the empty hand) as well as Okinawan KobudoTraining (Weapons). These styles are as follwos:
Anshin Ryu (incorporating Little Dragons Classes) – from 5 years to adult
Kamishin Ryu – from 16 years old to adult
Matayoshi Kobudo Kodokan International – from 14 years to adult

Classes are held as follows:
Monday Evenings:
For Junior Anshin Ryu Karate: from 6.30 to 8.00 pm at St Anne’s Church Hall, Welbeck Ave, Darlington, DL1 2DR.
For Matayoshi Kobudo: from 8.00 to 9.30 pm at St Anne’s Church Hall, Welbeck Ave, Darlington, DL1 2DR.
Tuesday Evenings:
For Junior and Senior Karate classes: from 6.30 to 9.30 pm at St Andrew’s Church Hall, Haughton Green (at junction to Salters Lane South), Darlington, DL1 2DD
Saturday Mornings:
For Little Dragons Karate: from 9.00 to 10.00 am at Clifton Centre, Clifton Avenue, Darlington, DL1 5EE
For Junior Anshin Ryu Karate: from 10.00 to 11.00 am at Clifton Centre, Clifton Avenue, Darlington, DL1 5EE
For Matayoshi Kobudo: from 11.00 to 12.00 noon at Clifton Centre, Clifton Avenue, Darlington, DL1 5EE
Karate Classes are from 5 yrs to 6yrs (Little Dragons), 7 yrs to 15 yrs (Junior Karate), 16 yrs and above (Senior Karate). Kobudo classes are from 14 yrs and above. Subscriptions are paid monthly (please contact us for current price). In addition to this the we hold regular seminars throughout the year, and the yearly weekend Kobudo Gasshuku training which given by one of Kodokan’s top western instructors Sensei Franco Sanguinetti, 7th Dan.
